In last 4 years Awarded "The Eat Safe Award in Scotland"

The Eat Safe Award extended to Scotland in January 2005 and is administered by Local Authority Environmental Health Services in conjunction with the Food Standards Agency.

The main aim of the scheme is to provide an incentive to food businesses to strive for food hygiene and food safety management standards beyond those required by law. It will also help consumers make informed choices about where to eat out by providing a recognisable 'sign' of excellence in standards of food hygiene.

"The well established Glaswegian fixture, Di Maggio's, won the Family Friendly Restaurant of the Year. When dining at any of the branches you are assured of enjoying Authentic Italian Cuisine in a relaxed family-friendly setting. Families are made to feel at home whilst dining in pleasant, relaxed surroundings and ordering from their vast selection of home style Italian recipes. Di Maggio's is still Family Favourite...

"Di Maggio's was proud to win the the Maw, Paw and the Weans Award at the recent Glasgow Restaurant Association Awards. It was selected to win this coveted prize by a panel of judges out of a shortlist of strong candidates. The award was presented to Di Maggio's Head Chef, Andrea, at a glitzy bash in the Citizen's Theatre on December 5th hosted by Michelle McManus. Also on the night, Di Maggio's sister restaurant, Cafe Andaluz West End, scooped up the 5pm Users Award. And, the company's very own Mario Gizzi was presented with the prestigious Entrepeneurial Spirit Award. We are grateful to everyone who voted for us and dedicate our awards to our loyal and valued customers."
